Announcements of positions elected by the Senior College will be available here on the website and on Facebook. Announcements of positions elected at the Nation Meeting will also be announced on the website and on Facebook.
The Quratel will prepare candidates and make recommendations to the Senior College. The announcement will be made at least fourteen (14) days before the Senior College where the elections will be held. The Quratel’s recommendations shall be stated in the notice of the Senior Meeting and shall be made available to ordinary members who take note of the notice.
Changes to the College of Seniors
The Senior College is now entitled to vote as long as a majority of the voting members are present, and as long as a majority of elected ordinary senior members are present. Thus, a full Senior College is no longer required to ensure that decisions can be taken. Quratel votes are adjusted if there are fewer Senior Members than Quratelers.
Senior members are now elected for a term of two (2) semesters instead of four.
The College of Seniors now decides on the budget and operational plan, and can take a wider range of disciplinary measures.
Other changes
Proposals for matters to be raised at a nation meeting must be received no later than twelve (12) days before a nation meeting for the matter to be handled. Notice of the meeting and the associated agenda will then be sent no later than nine (9) days before the Nation Meeting, and documents must be available no later than five (5) days before the Nation Meeting.
